Valentinegift let out a small sigh, excited the medicine den. They were probably the smallest clan of the four, but that meant more prey for everyone, and they were growing nicely. Speaking of prey, the black and white tomcat had grabbed a mouse off of the fresh-kill pile, sitting in front of his den and finishing it off in just a few bites. He licked his muzzle, savoring the taste, before looking around camp with a smile.

The leader nodded. The medicine cat was skilled. Southstar had faith he'd be able to pass that on to his apprentice. "Hmm, any problems in the clan? Sicknesses?" he asked with a flick of his tail.

"Well, we have been a bit low on certain herbs, but there doesn't seem to be any sicknesses or anything. Have you seen any, Mazepaw?" Val mewed, recalling his stock in the herb den before looking over to his apprentice.

"Yeah, there certainly has been a lot less poppy seeds and a bit of tansy. Even with leaf-bare approaching, I thought there would be a bit more. Have you noticed any other herbs, Mazepaw?" Val mewed, remembering the last time he went out in search of herbs and only returned with some coltsfoot and lavender, which it seemed like they had enough of.
