Fallenkingdom was currently lounging by the lake, her aqua eyes closed in a peaceful thoughtful process. What was she currently thinking about? Ah, well you see, the femme was head over heels for her close friend Infinitestar, but with the death of their leader, surely this wasn't a good time to tell anyone, so the deputy settled for merely daydreaming. With the sun lapping at her back and the sounds of birds chirping overhead, Fallen was pretty relaxed.

Whenever he was around Fallenkingdom, he felt his happiest, even after Sunsetstar's death. If she hadn't of died, they may have ended up together, but she was gone now. "Hello, Fall," he greeted the deputy, sitting down near her. "How are you, beautiful?" He hadn't even realized he'd called her it.

Shivering slightly from the cool breeze that came from the lake, Fallen's aqua eyes snapped open as she heard Infinitestar. "Wah, hey! I'm fine, how about you?" The deputy looked away as she felt a blush come to her cheeks. Did he call her beautiful? Suddenly getting self conscious the femme licked her chest fur quickly.

"I'm okay, I suppose. I'm just trying to get used to the fact that Sunsetstar is gone. I can't believe she died... it was just so unexpected. It doesn't help that she threw away her lives so easily... attacking them dogs on her second last life... what was she thinking? She wouldn't have stood a chance..." He sighed. "I keep thinking that I'll never be as good a leader as her."

"You'll be a fine leader, she had faith in you Infinite." Fallen murmured as she yawned and smiled to the tom. Flicking her ears, the femme bummed softly to herself.

Pain shot through Fallen's heart as she heard him say he missed Sunsetstar, sure they all did, but Fallen was convinced that the two were secretly mates. Perhaps an overactive imagination. "W-were you guys mates?" The tabby asked as she braced herself for the worst.

"No," he replied. "We were just good friends. And now she's dead and... well, we knew each other since we were kits, and it's just hard, knowing she's no longer around. But I suppose life must continue on. After all, I have a new best friend now." He forced a smile. "Well, actually, not just a best friend... Fallenkingdom, miss, I think I may love you."
It was just a spur of a moment thing, although his heart had known this for a while, even when he'd crushed on Sunsetstar, back when they were apprentices, but it would soon grow to true love. MADE BY ★MEULK OF THQ |

Fallenkingdom nearly choked as she heard the words she dreamed of hearing for a while. Looking to Infinite with wide aqua eyes, the deputy took a ragged breath before flicking her tail tip. "Seriously? I think I might love ÿoù too, Infinitestar." The tabby felt a smile tug at her lips.

"Then... will you be my mate?" he asked her, nervously, his heart almost skipping a beat. This would be his first time having a mate, as he was young, and if she accepted, he'd be over the moon. Hey, maybe they'd have kits, one day. That would be amazing!

Fallen took a ragged breath in once more before grinning like an idiot. "Yeah, of course!" The deputy purred loudly as she attempted to twine her tail with Infinite's, a small blush forming on her cheeks.

Fallen felt Infinite lick her cheek and she blushed but nodded with a smile on her lips. "Yeah sure. I lov you too." Now her cheeks were burning but she stood up and stretched her limbs.
